any text input will produce this issue for me.

I am having this exact problem. Lost first letter when I enter a text box and start typing, I usually look up and it's lost the first letter. Even if I wait a second.

I hope a fix for this is coming in the update. That discussion forum link doesn't work.

My PowerBook G4 does skip 1st letter.
Mostly when waking up. Annoying.
