THIS APP will DISTROY YOUR BATTERY LIFECYCLE , OVER LONG PERIOD OF TIME YOUR BATTERY WILL WARE DOWN AND THEN NOT CHARGE AT ALL. THIS APP IS NOT WORTH SAYS APPLE.COM BECAUSE STUFF LIKE THIS ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE RUNNING ON THE LOCK SCREEN

I don't mean to squash your enthusiasm, but NO apps are supposed to run on the iPhone.
Installing apps on a jailbroken iPhone is known to be a risky proposition, but there are dozens of quality programs already available for the platform, even without the 'official' sdk. Intelliscreen is one of them.
Instead of shouting your heart out all over the internet, how about showing some benchmarks regarding the battery issue (which I haven't seen, personally)?
PS: All caps is considered 'yelling' on the internet.
