The link to the file posted here is for a newer version of this hack which might get your iPhone stuck with just the apple logo on screen.

If that happens, then with the phone connected to the dock just hold the power and home button for about 10 seconds until the screen turns off, then let go of the power button ONLY and keep holding onto the home button.
Itunes will give you the option to recover your phone back to default state.

After you've done that, if your an AT&T user, you can have Itunes unlock your phone again with the backup stored on Itunes.

This version has you put your phone into recovery mode manually, like the instructions above. Doesn't have any of the lock-up errors like version 1.1
