Try reading a black font on a black background. That’s when a more opaque menu bar is appreciated.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I just tried dark photos, light photos, solid colours, black, white, grey, greens, blues...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It really didn't seem to make any difference what colour the photo was or what was on the desktop...  Maybe there is a combination that doesn't work with the transparent menubar, but I haven't found it yet...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Having said that, I guess it's good we will have the option to turn that off, I hope they give us the option to remove the 3D dock.
